Members of the Northern Hills Amateur Radio Club hosted an interactive youth STEM radio workshop in Spearfish, introducing local middle and high school students to wireless technology.
Students built electronic VFO circuits, learned basic Morse code, and operated handheld transceivers under the guidance of ARRL Volunteer Examiners.
The workshop concluded with several students passing their FCC Technician license examination.
